George Martin Kite 
George Martin was born on December 1st, 1850 in Virginia.1 George Martin's father was William Kite and his mother was Elizabeth Kite. His paternal grandparents were Benjamin Kite and Susannah Kite. He had four brothers and four sisters, named James, Philip, Fielding Wise, Henry J., Mary Jane, Barbara, Elizabeth and Arabella. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children.-
