Martha Ellen "Mat" Jackson

Martha Ellen "Mat" was born in 1854 in ,,Missouri.¹   Martha Ellen "Mat"'s father was John J. Jackson and her mother was Emily Paine\Payne.  Her paternal grandparents were William P. Jackson and Jinny Sally. She had seven sisters named Mary Jane, Sarah Catherine (Cat), Lydia Elizabeth, Emily F., Cynthia Ann, Nancy Adaline (Nannie) and Amanda Caroline (Cally).  She was the fourth youngest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 64 on May 29th, 1918 in ,Phelps, Missouri.  She was buried in 1918 in Renaud Cemetery, Edgar Springs, Phelps, Missouri.^1 1
