John J. Jackson

John J. was born in 1816 in ,,Kentucky.¹   John J.'s father was William P. Jackson and his mother was Jinny Sally.  His paternal grandfather was John Pentecost Jackson. He had six brothers and five sisters, named Phillip, William T. Smith, Andrew W., Francis Minet (Frank), George W., UNKNOWN, Mary "Polly", Martha "Patsy", Sarah "Sally", UNKNOWN and UNKNOWN. He had four half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Allen Jasper, Thomas N., Richard, Lafayette, Lucinda and Levitha "Visey".  He died at the age of 82 on April 15th, 1898 in ,Phelps, Missouri.  He was buried in April 1898 in Renaud Cemetery, Phelps, Missouri.^1 1
