John Gano Hulsey

John Gano was born on December 18th, 1844 in Hulsey, Washington, Missouri.¹   John Gano's father was William Henry Hulsey and his mother was Elizabeth V. Horine. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Charles Leroy, Benjamin Francis, James Milan, William H., Alexander Washington, Eli Walls, Sarah Elizabeth, Susan Elizabeth, Florence Ann and Frances Perlina.  He was the fifth oldest of the eleven children.
