Edna Hughes

Edna was born in 1829 in Sullivan County, Tennessee.¹   Edna's father was Robert Hughes and her mother was Elizabeth Devault.  Her paternal grandfather was David Hughes; her maternal grandparents were Gabriel Devault and Magdalene Kitzmiller. She had four brothers named Samuel Devault, James, Henry and David.  She was the third oldest of the five children.  She died at the age of 43 in 1872.¹
