William Hill

William was born in 1840 in Of, Hawkins, Tennessee.¹   William's father was Harden Hill and his mother was Catherine. He had four brothers and seven sisters, named Samuel, Jacob, Henry Clay, Joseph, Mary, Matilda, Malvina, Catherine, Louisa, Harriet and Susan.  He was the fourth oldest of the twelve children.
