Samuel Hill

Samuel was born in 1837 in Of, Hawkins, Tennessee.¹   Samuel's father was Harden Hill and his mother was Catherine. He had four brothers and seven sisters, named Jacob, William, Henry Clay, Joseph, Mary, Matilda, Malvina, Catherine, Louisa, Harriet and Susan.  He was the oldest of the twelve children.
