Mary D. Hickam 
Mary D. was born in 1857 in Sullivan County, Tennessee.1 Mary D.'s father was John Hickam and her mother was Rachel Yoakley. Her paternal grandparents were Isaac Wilbur Hickam and Nancy A. Droke; her maternal grandparents were Peter Yoakley and Rachel Canole. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Peter W. Lorenzo Dow, Andrew Jackson, Isaac Wilbur, Sarah P., Elizabeth, Nancy Orlena and Rachel Jane. She was the third oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 21 in 1878 in Sullivan County, Tennessee.1 -
