Jesse Helton

Jesse was born in 1850 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.¹   Jesse's father was John Helton and his mother was Charity. He had six brothers and three sisters, named William, Joshua, Wiley, Orvis, George, John, Jane, Lavinia and Ann.  He was the youngest of the ten children.
