Peter Helsley 
Peter was born about 1782 in Shenandoah County, Virginia.1 Peter's father was Jacob Helsley and his mother was Maria Margaret Kemmerer. He had three brothers and four sisters, named George Jacob, Christian, Henry, Sibilla, Dorothy, Catherine and Barbara. He was the youngest of the eight children.
