John W. Heck

John W. was born in 1824 in ,,Virginia.¹   John W.'s father was Jacob Heck and his mother was Barbara Kilmer.  His paternal grandparents were Daniel David Heck and Susannah Zellman. He had eight brothers and two sisters, named Jesse, George Washington, David Preston, James, Adam Stewart, Jacob, Lafayette, Lloyd, Martha and Sarah.  He was the second oldest of the eleven children.
