William Hale 
William was born in 1819 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.1 William's father was Henry Harvey Hale and his mother was Esther Brotherton. His paternal grandparents were Ogburn Or Ogden Hale and Lovina Hobgood; his maternal grandparents were William Brotherton and Esther Bone. He had three brothers named Ogburn, Alexander and John. He was the oldest of the four children.-
