William D. Griffith

William D. was born on April 5th, 1879 in KY.¹   William D.'s father was James L. Griffith and his mother was Adrienne Graves.  His paternal grandparents were William A. Griffith and Cynthia Mathers; his maternal grandparents were Jefferson Graves and Mary Dunn. He had three brothers and a sister, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named James, James W., Warren H., Mary E. and Griffith.  He was the second youngest of the six children.
