Mary Ellen Gough

Mary Ellen was born on March 20th, 1857 in Johnson Twp., Washington, Missouri.¹   Mary Ellen's father was Charles L. Gough and her mother was Martha YARBROUGH.  Her paternal grandparents were William Gough and Margaret Golden; her maternal grandparents were Thomas G. YARBROUGH and Mahala Brown. She had five brothers and five sisters, named Milton B., Vincent M., John T., Henry Clay, Charles L., Joseph H., Elizabeth, Mahala, Louise Alice and Martha Ann.  She was the third oldest of the eleven children. She had a half-brother named James W..  She died at the age of 58 on February 22nd, 1916 in Johnson Twp., Washington, Missouri.  She was buried in February 1916 in Johnson Twp., Washington, Missouri.^1 1
