Johnston Goad

Johnston was born in 1844 in Hawkins Co., TN.¹   Johnston's father was Peter Goad and his mother was Marinda.  His paternal grandparents were William Goad and Mary Hall. He had three brothers and two sisters, named David, Nathan Dillard, Lewis Amos, Nancy J. and Mary Ann.  He was the oldest of the six children.  He died at the age of 25 in 1869.¹
