Mary C. Gillenwaters

Mary C. was born about 1831 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.¹   Mary C.'s father was Thomas Gillenwaters and her mother was Eleanor Carmack.  Her paternal grandparents were Joel Gillenwaters and Sally Or Loretta Gibbons; her maternal grandparents were Cornelius Carmack and Mary Cookson. She had five brothers and two sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named John, Joel Carmack, James, Wesley, Isaac Shelby, Minerva, Eleanor and Missouri G..  She was the youngest of the nine children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Thomas B. and Martha.  She died after 1864.¹
