William Terrell Gillenwater 
William Terrell was born on April 30th, 1795 in Spartanburg, Spartanburg, South Carolina.1 William Terrell's father was Thomas Gillenwater and his mother was Mary Mallory Wilkins. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Gillenwater and Martha; his maternal grandparents were William Wilkins and Elizabeth Terrell. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Robert Wilkins, Joel, Thomas Jefferson, Elizabeth, Martha Or Patsy, Nancy, Rachel, Mary Ann and Sarah. He was the oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 70 on June 18th, 1865 in Dallas, Dallas, Texas.1 -
