Julia Ann was born on July 4th, 1813 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.1 Julia Ann's father was John Galbraith and his mother was Martha Larkins. His paternal grandparents were Arthur Galbraith and Mary Sharp. He had three brothers and seven sisters, named Andrew Larkins, John Sharp, Arthur Wright, Priscilla, Matilda, Sarah, Charlotte, Melinda, Lavinia and Matilda. He was the third youngest of the eleven children.-
