William Fitz Gerald

William was born in Of Moulsford.¹ William's father was Gerald De Windsor and his mother was Nesta Of South Wales. His paternal grandparents were Walter Fitz Otho and Gladys Of North Wales; his maternal grandparents were Rhys I Of South Wales and Gwladis Of Powys. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Maurice, David, De Windsor and Ankaret. He had a half-brother named Robert. He died in 1173.¹
