William P. Ewalt

William P. was born on January 24th, 1824 in ,,Kentucky.¹ William P.'s father was Samuel Ewalt and his mother was Cynthia Pugh. His paternal grandparents were Henry Ewalt and Elizabeth Frye; his maternal grandparents were Joseph Pugh and Elizabeth Hunt. He had two brothers and three sisters, named John H., Joseph R., Elizabeth, Mary S. and Sarah Or Sallie S.. He was the second oldest of the six children. He had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Samuel B., Joseph, Ann S. and Cynthia P.. He died at the age of 53 on July 16th, 1877.¹
