Sarah Jane Dyer 
Sarah Jane was born on March 5th, 1835 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.1 Sarah Jane's father was John Robert Dyer and her mother was Barsheba Thorp. Her paternal grandparents were John Robert Dyer and Sarah Taylor; her maternal grandfather was John Lewis Thorpe. She had six brothers and four sisters, named Augustus W., William T., Richard Fain, Lewis, Charles Mckinney, John James, Mary Or Polly, Louisa Jane, Elizabeth Frances and Nancy Melissa. She was the third oldest of the eleven children.
