Augustus W. Dyer

Augustus W. was born on December 13th, 1831 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.¹   Augustus W.'s father was John Robert Dyer and his mother was Barsheba Thorp.  His paternal grandparents were John Robert Dyer and Sarah Taylor; his maternal grandfather was John Lewis Thorpe. He had five brothers and five sisters, named William T., Richard Fain, Lewis, Charles Mckinney, John James, Sarah Jane, Mary Or Polly, Louisa Jane, Elizabeth Frances and Nancy Melissa.  He was the oldest of the eleven children.  He died at the age of 75 on September 8th, 1907.¹
