Susan Eleanor was born on June 23rd, 1874 in Sullivan County, Tennessee.1 Susan Eleanor's father was George Washington Droke and her mother was Christina Morton. Her paternal grandparents were John Droke and Isabel Wolford. She had eight brothers named William James, John Martin, Samuel Isaac, Marshal Elkanah, Joseph Benjamin, David Miller, Thomas Bruce and Charles Wolford. She was the fourth oldest of the nine children.-
