Rachel Davis

Rachel was born in 1840 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.¹   Rachel's father was George Washington Davis and her mother was Leah.  Her paternal grandparents were Hezekiah Davis and Amelia Or Milly Johnson. She had two brothers and six sisters, named Jefferson, Hezekiah, Elizabeth, Milla, Sarah, Minerva, Margaret and Emma.  She was the fourth oldest of the nine children.
