James Dalton

James was born in 1843 in Of, Hawkins, TN.¹ James' father was Peter Dalton and his mother was Ann Dykes. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Dalton and Dorothy Light. He had a brother and two sisters, named Thomas, Margaret and Lucinda. He was the second youngest of the four children.
