Margaret was born about 1424 in Of Naworth, Brampton, Cumberland, England.1 Margaret's father was Thomas De DACRE and her mother was Phillippa De NEVILLE. Her paternal grandparents were William De DACRE and Mary UNKNOWN; her maternal grandparents were Ralph De NEVILLE and Margaret De Stafford. She had seven brothers and a sister, named Thomas, Randolf, Richard, George, Humphrey, John, RAFF and Joan. She was the second youngest of the nine children. She died after 1452.1 General Notes
