Nannie Pearl was born on January 6th, 1884 in Hamlin Cty, TN.1 Nannie Pearl's father was James Henry Cozart and her mother was Margaret Frances McCarver. Her maternal grandparents were William Lafayette McCarver and Sarah Jane Robertson. She had seven brothers and a sister, named William Thomas, James Lafayette, Hugh Franklin, Charlie V., Eddie Luck, Arlie Edward, Arthur Donohue "Sie" and Lillian Margaret. She was the second youngest of the nine children. She died at the age of 78 on October 3rd, 1962 in Buffalo Springs, TX.1 -
