Hugh Franklin was born on April 22nd, 1877 in TN.1 Hugh Franklin's father was James Henry Cozart and his mother was Margaret Frances McCarver. His maternal grandparents were William Lafayette McCarver and Sarah Jane Robertson. He had six brothers and two sisters, named William Thomas, James Lafayette, Charlie V., Eddie Luck, Arlie Edward, Arthur Donohue "Sie", Lillian Margaret and Nannie Pearl. He was the fourth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 41 on October 27th, 1918 in Capulin, NM (Buried: Buffalo Springs,TX).1 -
