John Bertie Cotton 
John Bertie was born on April 22nd, 1658 in Isle Of Wight County, Virginia.1 John Bertie's father was John Cotton and his mother was Anne Hutcheson. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Cotton and Margaret Howard. He had six brothers and three sisters, named William, Thomas, Charles, Richard, Robert, Walter, Ann, Elizabeth and Jane. He was the oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 70 on May 17th, 1728 in ,Bertie, North Carolina.1 -
