John Cotton 
John was born in 1625 in Connington, Huntingdonshire, England.1 John's father was Thomas Cotton and his mother was Margaret Howard. His paternal grandparents were Robert Bruce Cotton and Elizabeth Brocas; his maternal grandparents were William Howard and Elizabeth Dacre. He had three sisters named Elizabeth, Mary and Ann. He was the second youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 77 on September 12th, 1702 in Virginia.1 -
