Marietta Cope

Marietta was born in 1821 in Of, Hawkins, Tennessee.¹   Marietta's father was James Cope and her mother was Elizabeth.  Her paternal grandfather was Cope. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Andrew, John, William, Micajah, Elizabeth, Susan and Tempe.  She was the second youngest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 89 in 1910.¹
