Wyatt Jackson Combest 
Wyatt Jackson was born on November 1st, 1913.1 Wyatt Jackson's father was Elmer Combest and his mother was Lena Maude Crumpler. His paternal grandparents were Charles Jackson Combest and Lulu Viola Stillwell. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Lloyd, Charles, Wilford Harold, Living, Viola Mae, Alice Lee, Colleen Joyce, Norene, Pearl Maxine and Living. He died at the age of 31 on March 16th, 1945 in WWII near Trier, Germany on the Mozelle River.1 General Notes

Wyatt was killed in WWII. He was a Corporal in Company C, 11th Tank Battalion, United States Army, 10th Army Division. A gunner and tank commander, he was wounded on the 20th of December, 1944 and hospitalized. Returning to duty, he was killed on the 16th of March, 1945, near Trier, Germany on the Mozelle River, four of five miles from Luxembourg. He is buried in the American cemetery in Luxemburg.
