Lloyd Arthur Combest 
Lloyd Arthur was born on February 23rd, 1909 in McMinnville, Yamhill County, Oregon.1 Lloyd Arthur's father was Sidney John Combest and his mother was Millie Celeste Miller. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Riley Combest and Louisa Ellen Bennett; his maternal grandparents were Emery Ellsworth Miller and Martha Elizabeth Zaun. He was an only child. He died at the age of 71 on December 23rd, 1980 in Sixes, Oregon.1 General Notes

"Samuel Combest and His Descendants" book
For many years, Lloyd was a miner and prospector in central California's
famous "Mother Lode" region. Later in life, he married Gladys R. Wilson
and they lived in Coloma, El Dorado County, California. Gladys R. Wilson
was born in Chardron, Dawes County, Nebraska on 22 November, 1895. In
1970, Lloyd and Gladys retured to Port Oxford, Oregon and later lived in
the community of Sixes, Curry County, Oregon.
Gladys died in Bandon, Coos County, Oregon on 24 November, 1972 and Lloyd
died in Sixes, Oregon on 23 December, 1980. They are both buried in the
Port Oxford Cemetery, Port Oxford, Oregon.
