John Daniel Combest 
John Daniel was born on July 13th, 1880.1 John Daniel's father was Aaron Wyatt Combest and his mother was Margaret Elizabeth Tarter. His paternal grandparents were Samuel D. Combest and Nancy Hammond; his maternal grandparents were Daniel Tarter and Sarah Jane Molen. He had a brother and five sisters, named George Russell, Martha Isabelle, Sarah Jane, Doretta, Leetta and Viola Courtney. He was the third youngest of the seven children.1 -
