Ruth Christian 
Ruth was born in February 1838 in ,Of, Virginia.1 Ruth's father was Thomas Jefferson Christian and her mother was Cassandra Ann Thrasher. Her paternal grandparents were John Christian and Nancy Skelton; her maternal grandfather was Isaac Thrasher. She had a brother and five sisters, named Andrew J., Rachel F., Nancy, Margaret E., Cassandra Or Cassa and Harriet. She was the third oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 63 on October 27th, 1901.1 -
