John Christian

John was born about 1778 in ,Buckingham, Virginia.¹ John's father was Lewis Christian and his mother was Margaret Felkner. His paternal grandfather was Thomas Christian. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Thomas, Allen, Lewis, James, William, Mary, Elizabeth, Nancy, Sarah, Margaret and Lucinda. He was the oldest of the twelve children. He died in 1845 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.¹
