Allen Christian

Allen was born about 1781 in ,Buckingham, Virginia.¹ Allen's father was Lewis Christian and his mother was Margaret Felkner. His paternal grandfather was Thomas Christian. He had five brothers and six sisters, named John, Thomas, Lewis, James, William, Mary, Elizabeth, Nancy, Sarah, Margaret and Lucinda. He was the third oldest of the twelve children.
