Thomas H. Chestnut

Thomas H. was born in 1834 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.¹   Thomas H.'s father was Samuel Chestnut and his mother was Susan Lee.  His paternal grandfather was Chestnut; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Lee and Mary Or Polly. He had three brothers and seven sisters, named Rodham, Patrick, Samuel, Catherine, Caroline, Martha, Sarah, Margaret, Chestnut and Susan.  He was the fifth oldest of the eleven children.
