Mary E. Breeding

Mary E. was born in 1858 in Sullivan County, Tennessee.¹   Mary E.'s father was Andrew Jackson Breeding and her mother was Cassandra Matilda Hurst.  Her paternal grandparents were William Breeding and Charity Fugate; her maternal grandparents were Samuel Hurst and Lucinda H.. She had seven brothers and three sisters, named Albert Grayson, Floyd W., Rufus William, Sidney H., James Kemper, Robert Withers, Irby Jackson, Laura W., Margaret H. W. and Sarah Ann.  She was the third oldest of the eleven children.
