John Thomas Blankenship 
John Thomas was born about 1856 in St. Chas. Co., Missouri.1 John Thomas' father was William M. Blankenship and his mother was Melcena Baldridge. His paternal grandparents were Charles Henry Blankenship and Elizabeth Gough; his maternal grandparents were Melchiah K. Baldridge and Susannah N. Stewart. He had six brothers and three sisters, named James H., Vincent, Wesley Edward, Joseph, Albert, Julius, Martha Margaret Jean, Mary and Ally. He was the second oldest of the ten children. He died before 1870 in St. Chas. Co., Missouri. He was buried in St. Chas. Co., Missouri.1 1 -
