John Wesley Birchfield

John Wesley was born on October 2nd, 1880 in Tennessee.¹   John Wesley's father was William Thomas Birchfield and his mother was Martha Bradshaw.  His paternal grandparents were Abner Birchfield and Lucinda Hicks; his maternal grandparents were William Bradshaw and Nancy Haynes. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Samuel J., Andrew Baxter, William Harve, David D., Charles Blain, Nancy E., Amanda M., Mary Ann, Sarah Melissa and Blannie.  He was the fourth youngest of the eleven children.  He died at the age of 85 in 1965.¹
