Henry Calvin Slaymaker 
Henry Calvin was born in 1843 in Dauphin Co., PA. Henry Calvin's father was William Daniel Slaymaker and his mother was Elizabeth Ann Slaymaker. His paternal grandparents were Amos Slaymaker and Isabella Fleming; his maternal grandparents were John, Jr. Slaymaker and Jeannett McIlvaine. He had two brothers and six sisters, named Amos Barr, William Alexander, Isabella, Jane Dickson, Elizabeth Anna, Faithful Mary, Sarah Rebecca and Martha Catharine. He was the youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 37 in 1880.General Notes
