Amos Slaymaker 
Amos was born on August 9th, 1777 in Lancaster Co., PA. Amos' father was John Slaymaker and his mother was Mary Peck. His paternal grandparents were Mathias, Jr Slaymaker and Barbara Smith. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Mathias, Henry, Mary, Susannah, Lydia and Elizabeth. He was the oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 18 on July 31st, 1796.General Notes
