Daniel McDaniel II 
Daniel was born about 1720 in Bertie Co. NC. Daniel's father was Daniel McDaniel and his mother was Sarah Browne. His maternal grandparents were Thomas Browne and Christian Maule. He had four brothers and two sisters, named James, Nicholas, Archibald, Alexander, Mary Ann and Ann. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children. He died on May 6th, 1768 in Edgecombe Co, NC.General Notes

Died 6/5/1768. Probated Feby. CRT., 1769. Eldest son and Exec; Daniel-III McDaniel, plantation on
which he lives, all stock, etc. in his possession. Dau: Ann Anderson, 20
Sons: Archible (Archibald ?), stock, 1000 lbs. pork; David, 100 A lying on Wood Poco son, 1/2 corn crop, and horse; Camel (Campbell), plantation whereon I live. Son: John, mare. (Samuel Butler & Daniel McDaniel in co-partnership do convey my share of the company). Witness:
