Anna was born in 1833 in NC. Anna's father was Levi Jones and her mother was Elizabeth Ann "Betsy" Harvill . Her paternal grandparents were Moses Jones and Ruth Busby; her maternal grandparents were James Harvill and Hannah UNKNOWN. She had six brothers and four sisters, named Daniel, David, Levi, Henry, John, Nathan, Abigail, Lucy, Sophia and Katherine. She was the fifth youngest of the eleven children.-
