John Edward was born on July 9th, 1819 in Iredell Co NC. John Edward's father was William Burrell Barker and his mother was Susannah Bone. His paternal grandparents were Hinchea Barker and Beheathland Colclough; his maternal grandparents were William Bone IV and Elizabeth Potts. He was an only child.
