George Winstead 
George was born in 1878 in , Hawkins, Tennessee. George's father was Malin Winstead and his mother was Elizabeth Lawson. His paternal grandparents were John Winstead and Fanny Lawson; his maternal grandparents were George Washington Lawson and Melvina Jane Cook. He had four brothers named James, William, Sidney and John. He was the second youngest of the five children.-
