Philip Winegar 
Philip was born in 1852 in , Hawkins, Tennessee. Philip's father was Philip Winegar and his mother was Matilda Collins. His paternal grandparents were Peter Winegar and Julia Ann Slusher. He had two brothers and six sisters, named William, Andrew, Louisa, Martha, Elizabeth, Mary, Sarah and Rachel. He was the fourth youngest of the nine children. He had two half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Peter, George, Catherine, Margaret, Julia, Rebecca and Phoebe.-
