William B. Whaley 
William B. was born about 1818 in Paris, Bourbon, Kentucky. William B.'s father was Leland Whaley and his mother was Mary Or Polly Talbott. His paternal grandparents were James Whaley and Barbara Ramey; his maternal grandparents were Henry Talbott and Barbara Whaley. He had a brother and three sisters, named James, Harriet, Evelina and Angeline. He was the youngest of the five children. He had three half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Charles H., Benjamin F., Lee W., Mary, Sarah and Elizabeth.-
