Matthew Turney 
Matthew was born in 1836 in , Bourbon, Kentucky. Matthew's father was Amos Turney and his mother was Lucinda Mc Intyre. His paternal grandparents were Daniel Turney and Susan Matheny. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Henry, Daniel, Amos, Jesse, Mary, Sarah and Elizabeth. He was the third oldest of the eight children.-
